Originally from Houston, Texas, Chef Samantha grew up in a family that loved to cook so the kitchen was always a source of excitement. Starting her career by dual majoring at the Art Institute of Houston in Culinary Arts as well as Baking & Pastry.
Baking her way in the pastry scene and working under talented Pastry Chefs such as Jami Kling and Catherine Rodriguez, eventually rising to Executive Pastry Chef herself.
In 2012 she won the best cookie award from The Houston Press and was also nominated for Pastry Chef of the year in 2014 from My Table Magazine.
Striving for growth, in 2015, she switched sides of the kitchen to pursue being a more well rounded chef in the savory world. Working along side Chef Brandi Key, she broadened her skills and rose to Executive Chef.
In 2020, thankfully, she returned to the sweet life as a Pastry Chef.
